Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb beef stew meat cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup 10.5 oz
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 8 oz pasta penne or your favorite shape
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • optional fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Place beef stew meat, diced onion, and minced garlic in the slow cooker.
  • In a bowl, whisk together cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, heavy cream, dried basil, and dried oregano. Pour the sauce over the beef mixture in the slow cooker and stir to combine.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the beef is tender and infused with flavor.
  • About 30 minutes before serving, cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Stir cooked pasta into the slow cooker. Add grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper. Let cook on low for an additional 10-15 minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve hot. Enjoy the creamy, savory flavors!

Notes

For added flavor, try substituting beef broth with red wine. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
