Ingredients
  

  • 1 can flaky biscuits
  • 1 box instant vanilla pudding 3.5 oz
  • 2 cups granulated sugar mixed with cinnamon
  • 6 cups oil for frying
  • powdered sugar optional topping
  • melted chocolate optional topping

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the vanilla pudding according to package instructions and refrigerate until set.
  • Heat oil to 350°F.
  • Cut each biscuit into four pieces.
  • Fry biscuit pieces in batches for about 1 minute per side until golden brown.
  • Remove and drain on paper towels.
  • Roll warm biscuit pieces in cinnamon sugar.
  • Fill each piece with pudding using a piping bag or injector.
  • Top with powdered sugar or drizzle with melted chocolate if desired and serve.

Notes

Fill the poppers while still slightly warm for easier piping. Avoid overfilling to prevent bursting. Best served fresh and warm.
