Ingredients
  

  • 8 cups green cabbage finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup carrot grated or finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup onion finely minced
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 1/2 tbsp lemon juice fresh
  • 1 1/2 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, combine the chopped cabbage, grated carrot, and minced onion.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, buttermilk, milk, lemon juice, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  • Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and stir well to combine.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, for best flavor.
  • Stir before serving and enjoy chilled.

Notes

Use a food processor for finer texture, similar to KFC’s coleslaw consistency.
