beef broth

heavy cream

Worcestershire sauce

egg noodles

cups
Swiss cheese, grated
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped, for serving
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, nutmeg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Roll into meatballs (1 1/2 tbsp each).
Brown meatballs in olive oil over medium-high heat. Remove and set aside.
Cook egg noodles in salted water until 2 minutes shy of al dente. Drain and set aside.
In the same skillet, add beef broth, heavy cream, and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer 10 minutes until slightly thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
Add cooked noodles to baking dish. Nestle meatballs in the noodles. Pour sauce over and top with grated Swiss cheese.
Bake for 20 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly. Let rest 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley.
Notes
Try using a blend of pork and beef for extra flavor. You can prep the meatballs a day ahead and refrigerate.
