Slow Cooker Onion Butter Potatoes
Tender potatoes are slow cooked with melted butter and savory onion seasoning until soft, flavorful, and comforting. This easy side dish pairs well with chicken, beef, pork, or simple weeknight meals.

baby potatoes

butter
melted

packet
dry onion soup mix

black pepper

fresh parsley
chopped, optional
Instructions
Lightly grease the inside of a 4-quart or 6-quart slow cooker.
Add the halved baby potatoes to the slow cooker.
Pour the melted butter over the potatoes.
Sprinkle the dry onion soup mix and black pepper evenly over the top.
Stir gently until the potatoes are evenly coated.
Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours, or on high for 2–3 hours, until the potatoes are tender.
Stir before serving and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
Use Yukon Gold or red potatoes for the best texture. Add grated Parmesan before serving for a richer finish.
