Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless steak sirloin or top round, cut into 4 pieces
  • 8 tbsp unsalted butter softened
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp kosher salt plus more to taste

Instructions

  • Prepare four large sheets of heavy-duty foil. Lightly fold up edges to prevent butter from spilling.
  • In a bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, and salt until well combined.
  • Pat steak pieces dry and place each in the center of a foil sheet. Divide garlic butter evenly over each piece.
  • Fold foil tightly around each steak to seal completely into packets.
  • Place packets seam-side up in the slow cooker. Cook on LOW for 3–4 hours, depending on thickness.
  • Let rest with lid on for 10 minutes. Carefully open packets away from face and serve with juices poured over steak.

Notes

Add potatoes or vegetables to packets for a full meal. Finish with fresh herbs like parsley for extra flavor.
