Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta uncooked
  • 4 cups chicken broth low sodium preferred
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter cut into pieces
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt adjust to taste
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups grated parmesan cheese freshly grated preferred
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Add uncooked pasta, chicken broth, heavy cream, butter, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to the slow cooker. Stir to combine.
  • Cover and cook on high for 2 to 2.5 hours, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and liquid has mostly absorbed.
  • Stir in grated parmesan cheese until fully melted and sauce is creamy. If too thick, add a splash of warm milk or broth.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

For extra protein, add cooked shredded chicken or sautéed mushrooms at the end of cooking.
