1lbziti pastauncooked
2cupsmarinara sauceyour favorite brand or homemade
1cupricotta cheese
2cupsmozzarella cheeseshredded, divided
1/2cupParmesan cheesegrated
1tspItalian seasoning
1tspsaltadjust to taste
1/2tspblack pepper
1tbspolive oilfor greasing the slow cooker
Instructions
Grease the bottom and sides of your slow cooker with olive oil.
Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of the slow cooker.
Add a layer of uncooked ziti, then dollops of ricotta cheese, a sprinkle of mozzarella, and marinara sauce. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of sauce and mozzarella on top.
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper over the top.
Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or until pasta is tender and cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let sit uncovered for 10 minutes before serving to allow the layers to set.

For added flavor, stir in cooked ground beef or Italian sausage between layers.
