Ingredients

  • 2 lb chicken breasts boneless, skinless, diced
  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 tbsp garlic minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth low-sodium
  • 12 oz egg noodles wide, uncooked

Instructions

  • Place diced chicken in an even layer in the slow cooker.
  • Mix melted butter with garlic and pour over the chicken.
  • Add chicken broth and gently stir to combine.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2.5 hours until chicken is tender.
  • Season with salt and plenty of black pepper to taste.
  • Add egg noodles, pressing them into the broth so they are mostly submerged.
  • Cook on HIGH for 20–30 minutes, stirring once, until noodles are tender.
  • Serve warm once noodles are soft and coated in the buttery sauce.

Notes

Keep an eye on the noodles—they cook quickly and can become too soft if overcooked. Add extra broth if needed for a looser, soupier consistency.
