frozen egg noodles
such as Reames brand
Instructions
Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
Add cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper over the chicken.
Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours, or until chicken is tender and fully cooked.
Remove the chicken, shred it with two forks, then return it to the slow cooker.
Add frozen egg noodles and stir. Cover and cook on high for 1 more hour, or until noodles are tender.
Stir gently before serving. Serve hot with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
For a creamier texture, stir in 1/2 cup of sour cream just before serving.
