Slow Cooker 5-Ingredient Meatball Marinara Pasta

A fuss-free, comforting pasta dinner made right in your slow cooker. Frozen meatballs, a jar of marinara, tender pasta, and gooey mozzarella come together for a hearty family meal with almost no effort. Perfect for busy weeknights or lazy Sundays.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb frozen meatballs beef, turkey, chicken, or plant-based
  • 24 oz jar of marinara sauce use a good-quality sauce
  • 8 oz pasta spaghetti or penne
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions
 

  • Place frozen meatballs in the bottom of your slow cooker.
  • Pour the jar of marinara sauce and the cup of water over the meatballs. Stir gently to combine.
  • Cover with the lid and cook on low for 4–5 hours.
  • About 30 minutes before serving, cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente.
  • Drain the cooked pasta and stir it into the meatball marinara mixture in the slow cooker.
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella over the top. Cover and let it sit for about 10 minutes until the cheese melts.

Notes

Bring a sprinkle of grated parmesan to the table if you’d like an extra cheesy touch.
