Slow Cooker 5-Ingredient Beef and Cheese Pasta

This cheesy, comforting pasta dish is a perfect set-it-and-forget-it slow cooker meal. With only five simple ingredients, it’s great for busy weeknights and feeds the whole family with minimal effort.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 jar marinara sauce 24 ounces
  • 3 cups uncooked pasta such as rotini or penne
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions
 

  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • In the slow cooker, combine the cooked beef, marinara sauce, uncooked pasta, and Italian seasoning. Stir to mix well.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours, or until the pasta is tender.
  • About 30 minutes before serving, sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the top. Cover and let the cheese melt.
  • Serve hot and enjoy the comforting flavors of this simple yet satisfying dish.

Notes

Use whole wheat or gluten-free pasta for a healthier or allergy-friendly version. Add red pepper flakes for a bit of heat.
