Ingredients

  • 8 chicken drumsticks or thighs if preferred
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce tamari for gluten-free
  • 1/2 cup honey any kind
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic fresh or jarred

Instructions

  • Arrange the chicken drumsticks in your slow cooker. No need to be fancy — just get them all in there.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, and minced garlic until smooth.
  • Pour the sauce over the chicken, stirring or moving pieces around so they’re well coated.
  • Cover with the lid and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender and falling apart.
  • Optional: For extra stickiness, remove the chicken and simmer the leftover sauce in a small pot on the stove for 5–10 minutes until thickened. Pour it back over the chicken before serving.

Notes

If you have fresh ginger, grate a bit in with the sauce for extra flavor — it smells heavenly. Serve with rice, noodles, or a crisp green salad for a complete meal.
