Instructions
Lightly grease the inside of your slow cooker with cooking spray or butter to prevent sticking.
Add steel-cut oats, water, milk, and ground cinnamon to the slow cooker. Stir to combine.
Cover and cook on low for 7–8 hours overnight, or until oats are tender and creamy.
Stir well before serving. Top with your favorite fruits, nuts, or sweeteners if desired.
Notes
To avoid sticking, use a slow cooker liner or cook in a water bath using a heatproof bowl inside the slow cooker.
