Ingredients

  • 4 boneless pork chops about 1-inch thick
  • 1 oz dry ranch seasoning mix 1 packet
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter sliced

Instructions

  • Tear off four large sheets of heavy-duty foil, big enough to fully wrap each pork chop. Double layer if foil is thin.
  • Pat the pork chops dry and place one in the center of each foil sheet.
  • Evenly sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix over each pork chop, coating the tops and sides.
  • Divide the butter slices evenly and place on top of each chop.
  • Fold the foil tightly around each chop, sealing the edges to form secure packets.
  • Arrange the foil packets in the bottom of the slow cooker in a single layer if possible.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 7 hours or on HIGH for 3 to 3.5 hours.
  • Carefully open the foil packets away from your face to avoid steam burns.
  • Transfer pork chops to plates and spoon the buttery ranch sauce over the top before serving.

Notes

Add sliced potatoes or carrots inside the foil for a complete meal. For a lighter version, reduce the butter slightly.
