Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 lb ground breakfast sausage cooked and crumbled
  • 1 package cream cheese 8 oz, softened
  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough 8-count
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, mix cooked sausage with softened cream cheese and black pepper until well combined.
  • Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
  • Place a spoonful of sausage mixture at the wide end of each triangle and roll up toward the point.
  • Place crescents on the baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve warm.

Notes

You can prepare the sausage-cream cheese filling in advance and store it in the fridge for up to 2 days.
