Ingredients
  

  • 3 sweet potatoes peeled and diced
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Toss sweet potato cubes with olive oil until lightly coated.
  • Spread in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  • Melt butter and mix with brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  • Drizzle over potatoes and sprinkle with salt.
  • Roast 45–60 minutes, stirring halfway, until tender and caramelized.
  • Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Add cayenne for heat or use maple syrup instead of brown sugar for a richer flavor.
