Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Arrange the chicken breasts in a single layer in the prepared dish.
In a small bowl, stir together the Russian dressing and dry onion soup mix until well combined.
Spoon the dressing mixture over the chicken and spread it evenly to coat each piece.
Optional: Flip each chicken breast once to lightly coat the underside.
Bake uncovered for 45–55 minutes, until the sauce is thickened, caramelized around the edges, and the chicken reaches 165°F in the thickest part.
Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Do not crowd the chicken so the sauce can caramelize properly. Serve with rice, mashed potatoes, or buttered noodles.
