black tea bags

Instructions
Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan or kettle.
Place the tea bags in a heatproof pitcher and pour the hot water over them. Steep for 5-7 minutes.
Remove the tea bags and stir in the sugar until dissolved.
Add the remaining 2 cups of cold water and let the tea cool to room temperature.
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Serve over ice with lemon slices.
Notes
Try adding mint leaves or fruit slices like peach or raspberry for a fun twist.
