Ingredients
  

  • 3 32 oz packages hot dogs
  • 2/3 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/3 cup yellow mustard
  • 2 teaspoons liquid smoke
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, divided

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 300°F and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Slice hot dogs into thirds or quarters and place in the prepared dish.
  • Top hot dogs with BBQ sauce, mustard, and liquid smoke. Toss to coat evenly.
  • In a small bowl, combine paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and 1/4 cup of the brown sugar. Sprinkle mixture over hot dogs.
  • Bake for 1 hour, stirring halfway through for even cooking.
  • Remove from oven, sprinkle remaining 1/4 cup brown sugar on top, increase temperature to 400°F, and bake for 10-15 more minutes until caramelized.
  • Serve warm with your favorite deli or picnic sides.

Notes

Try brushing with extra BBQ sauce right before serving for a glossy finish!
