Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups cooked chicken cubed or shredded
  • 1 cup celery chopped
  • 1/2 cup green pepper chopped
  • 4 oz pimentos drained
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup undiluted
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2-3 cups potato chips crushed
  • 1/2-3/4 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish.
  • In a large bowl, combine chicken, celery, green pepper, pimentos, lemon juice, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, cream of chicken soup, and salt.
  • Mix thoroughly until evenly combined, then spread mixture into the prepared casserole dish.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
  • Spread crushed potato chips over the cheese layer, then top with slivered almonds.
  • Bake for 30 minutes, until hot and bubbly with a golden topping.
  • Let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Rotisserie chicken works perfectly in this recipe. Serve with a green salad or fresh rolls for a complete meal.
