Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
Mix in cheese and herbs, coating them with flour.
Whisk milk, butter, and eggs in another bowl.
Combine wet and dry ingredients gently without overmixing.
Transfer batter to pan and top with extra cheese if desired.
Bake 45–50 minutes until golden and cooked through.
Cool in pan for 10 minutes before removing.
Notes
Use different herbs or add garlic powder for extra flavor depth.
