Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup whipped heavy cream
  • 20 ounces crushed pineapple drained
  • 10 ounces frozen strawberries or raspberries slightly thawed and chopped
  • 11 ounces mandarin oranges drained
  • 1/2 cup pecans chopped
  • 1/3 cup maraschino cherries halved
  • 2 ripe bananas sliced
  • 1 lemon juiced

Instructions

  • Beat the softened cream cheese with granulated sugar until smooth.
  • Fold in the whipped heavy cream.
  • Add the drained crushed pineapple, slightly thawed and chopped frozen strawberries or raspberries, and drained mandarin oranges.
  • Mix in the chopped pecans and halved maraschino cherries.
  • Toss the sliced bananas in the juice of 1 lemon to prevent browning, then fold them into the mixture.
  • Spread the mixture into a 9x13-inch pan, cover, and freeze for at least 4 hours.
  • Before serving, let it sit at room temperature for 10–15 minutes, then cut into squares.

Notes

If you're serving this for a party, garnish with a few extra maraschino cherries and a light dusting of powdered sugar. You can also make it ahead and keep it frozen for up to a week — just let it thaw a bit before slicing.
