Ingredients

  • 1 package classic Hawaiian rolls
  • 8 oz cream cheese room temperature
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese divided
  • 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 teaspoons Italian seasoning divided
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 7x11-inch baking dish with 2 tablespoons of melted butter.
  • Separate Hawaiian rolls and cut an X into the top of each one, being careful not to slice through the bottom.
  • Widen the holes using the handle of a wooden spoon. Place the rolls in the greased baking dish.
  • Beat the cream cheese until smooth, then mix in 1½ cups mozzarella, minced garlic, and 1½ teaspoons Italian seasoning.
  • Transfer the cheese mixture to a piping bag or zip-top bag with the corner snipped. Pipe the filling into each roll.
  • In another bowl, mix remaining melted butter with garlic powder and remaining 1½ teaspoons of Italian seasoning.
  • Drizzle butter mixture over the stuffed rolls. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake for 12–14 minutes until the rolls are golden and the cheese is melted.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

You can prep the rolls ahead of time and refrigerate them, then bake just before serving. They also reheat well in the oven or air fryer.
