Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb shrimp peeled, deveined, and chopped
  • 1 lb lump crab meat picked over for shells
  • 1 cup celery chopped
  • 1 cup onion diced
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded, divided
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs preferably panko
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt or to taste
  • 2 tbsp parsley chopped, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté onion and celery until softened, about 5 minutes. Set aside to cool.
  • In a large bowl, mix shrimp, crab, sautéed vegetables, mayonnaise, sour cream, 3/4 cup of the cheddar cheese, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Transfer mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Top with remaining 1/4 cup cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs.
  • Bake uncovered for 30 minutes or until golden and bubbling.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add a dash of hot sauce or diced jalapeños to the mix.
