Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes optional, for heat

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
  • Arrange the shrimp in a single layer in the prepared baking dish.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  • Pour the lemon butter sauce evenly over the shrimp.
  • Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
  • Remove from oven and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, serve with a sprinkle of grated Parmesan or over angel hair pasta.
