Ingredients
  

  • 3 lb beef chuck roast
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix dry
  • 1 packet brown gravy mix dry
  • 1 packet Italian dressing mix dry
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 carrots peeled and cut into chunks
  • 4 russet potatoes peeled and quartered
  • 1 onion cut into wedges

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 275°F (135°C).
  • Place chuck roast in a large Dutch oven or deep baking dish with a lid.
  • Arrange carrots, potatoes, and onion around the roast.
  • In a small bowl, mix the ranch, gravy, and Italian dressing packets with 1 cup of water until combined.
  • Pour seasoning mixture evenly over the roast and vegetables.
  • Cover tightly with a lid or foil and bake for 4 hours, or until the roast is fork-tender.
  • Remove from oven, rest for 10 minutes, then shred or slice to serve with vegetables and pan juices.

Notes

Swap the water for beef broth for even richer flavor. Great with crusty bread or over mashed potatoes.
