Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, garlic powder, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using).
  • Wrap each chicken tender with a slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick if needed.
  • Roll each bacon-wrapped chicken tender in the brown sugar mixture until fully coated.
  • Place the coated tenders on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the bacon is crispy.
  • Remove from oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crispy bacon, broil the chicken tenders for 1–2 minutes at the end of baking — just watch them closely to avoid burning. These are also great served with ranch or honey mustard on the side.
