5-Ingredient Slow Cooker Patriots Day Lasagna

A hearty, no-fuss slow cooker lasagna made with layers of pasta, marinara sauce, ground beef, ricotta, and mozzarella. This cozy family-style dish is easy to assemble and works well for Patriots Day gatherings, potlucks, or a simple comfort food dinner.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef cooked and drained
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 9 lasagna noodles uncooked and broken as needed
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions
 

  • Lightly grease the inside of a 6-quart slow cooker.
  • Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • Layer uncooked lasagna noodles over the sauce, breaking them as needed to fit.
  • Add a layer of cooked ground beef, spoonfuls of ricotta cheese, more marinara sauce, and shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, ending with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese on top.
  • Cover and cook on low for 3 1/2–4 hours, until the noodles are tender and the lasagna is hot and bubbly.
  • Turn off the slow cooker and let the lasagna rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Add Italian seasoning or garlic powder to the beef for extra flavor. Serve with salad or garlic bread for a complete meal.
