Ingredients

  • 4 thick-cut bone-in pork chops about 2 to 2 1/2 lb total
  • 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup 10.5 oz
  • 1 packet dry ranch dressing mix 1 oz
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup chunky salsa mild or medium

Instructions

  • Place the pork chops in the bottom of the slow cooker, allowing slight overlap if needed.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the condensed cream of chicken soup, dry ranch dressing mix, chicken broth, and chunky salsa until mostly smooth.
  • Pour the sauce evenly over the pork chops.
  • Do not add extra water; the pork will release juices as it cooks.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours, or on high for 3–4 hours, until the pork chops are tender and reach at least 145°F internally.
  • Carefully remove the pork chops from the slow cooker and transfer them to a serving platter.
  • Stir the sauce until smooth and taste for seasoning.
  • Add salt only if needed.
  • If the sauce is too thin, simmer it uncovered on high for 10–15 minutes to thicken slightly.
  • Spoon the sauce generously over the pork chops before serving.

Notes

Low cooking gives the most tender texture. Use mild or medium salsa depending on how much heat you prefer.
