Ingredients

  • 3 to 3.5 lb boneless country-style pork ribs
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • salt and pepper optional, to taste

Instructions

  • Pat pork ribs dry with paper towels.
  • Season lightly with salt and pepper if desired.
  • In a bowl, whisk together barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, and brown sugar until combined.
  • Place ribs in the slow cooker and pour sauce over the top, turning to coat evenly.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 7–8 hours or HIGH for 3.5–4 hours.
  • Optional: remove some sauce and simmer to thicken before serving.
  • Serve ribs hot with extra sauce spooned over the top.

Notes

Cooking on LOW yields the most tender, fall-apart texture. Add a splash of vinegar at the end for extra brightness if desired.
