butter

Instructions
Lightly grease the inside of a 4-quart or 6-quart slow cooker.
Add the sliced sweet potatoes to the slow cooker.
Sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over the sweet potatoes.
Place the sliced butter over the top.
Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours, or on high for 2–3 hours, until the sweet potatoes are tender.
Gently stir before serving, coating the sweet potatoes in the buttery brown sugar sauce.
Serve warm.
Notes
Add cinnamon or nutmeg for a warmer holiday flavor. Mini marshmallows can be added during the last 15 minutes if desired.
